Brittany is a proactive, innovative librarian for the College of Communication, serving as the departmental liaison and subject specialist. She manages collections and provides reference services. She also collaborates with faculty to work toward information literacy learning outcomes for courses and provides instruction sessions, assignments, research guides and tutorials.
Brittany Rhea Deputy received her Master of Art in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, Tampa, in May 2012. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from University of Florida, Gainesville, in December 2007. After her graduation, she started her career as an Assistant Professor Librarian, serving as liaison to the College of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Alabama. She joined Reference & Information Services at the University of Texas on June 17, 2013.
