Larayne has been at the Engineering Library at UT-Austin since 1987 after previously working in the libraries at the University of Illinois (Urbana), Arkansas State University, and Rutgers University (New Brunswick). She grew up on a farm in east-central Illinois and remains interested in rural and agricultural topics. Non-work time is spent mostly cooking, getting ready to cook, or cleaning up after cooking.
