Finding Health and Nursing Journals
Journals indexed in the CINAHL®, Medline (PubMed), ERIC, PsycInfo and other health-related databases in the caring sciences can be located within the University of Texas Libraries, The University of Texas at Austin, and through several local area medical libraries.
In order to make the Find it @UT service visible in your search results, you will need to create a free personal account at My NCBI. Once you login, you will be on the My NCBI home page. From the left hand menu bar, select "Preferences". Under "PubMed Preferences" select "Outside Tool". A list of institutions will display. Browse through the list until you see "University of Texas Libraries: Find it@UT". Click the radio button to select this option, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “Save”. You will now see the Find it@UT button in your search results; however, the default Summary display does not display the button. You will need to view the abstract or change your display view to Abstract, AbstractPlus, or Citation in order to see the Find it@UT button.
