How do I find out if particular journal is available online or in print in the UT libraries?
- From your database search results, click the
button to connect to the online version of the article if available
- OR check for the target journal in Find a Journal or check the source (book title, when the citation is to a chapter) in the Library Catalog.
- If your target journal not online, search the library catalog. To find the physical location in PCL, find the call number on the PCL Locations Guide. Likewise, for other UT libraries, such as the Benson Latin American Collection, consult the UT Libraries locations guide.
- If the item you need is not held locally, place a request through Interlibrary Loan. OCLC WorldCAT is a database that can assist you with locating materials not held by UT; make sure to obtain full bibliographic information, especially the OCLC number, for the fastest turnaround on your Interlibrary Loan requests.
