Hemeroteca Digital de Chihuahua – Contents of thirty-six newpapers and news magazines from Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Ciudad Cuauhtemoc, Mexico City and El Paso, TX. Excellent U.S.-Mexico border coverage.
Hispanic American Newspapers – Provides access to a large compilation of Spanish-language newspapers printed in the U.S. during the 19th and 20th centuries.

Academic Search Complete – General database with articles about any topic. A good resource to start your research.
Dissertations and Theses: Full Text – Contains more than 2 million doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Provides full text for many dissertations and theses, including most done after 1997.
JSTOR – Full text articles appearing in over 1,000 leading academic journals in every subject area.
Finding articles—Chican@/Latino@ specific databases
Chicano Database - Contains records for all types of material on Mexican American topics and Chicanos. Particularly strong for the period 1960s to early 1990s. Since 1992, covers material on the broader Latino experience, including Puerto Ricans, Cuban Americans, and Central American immigrants.

Art Abstracts / Art Index Retrospective – Provides the most up-to-date coverage of art, architecture, archaeology, design, planning, and museum studies.
Education Full Text – Indexes magazines and journals dating back to 1983 with full text of articles as far back as 1996.
Ethnic NewsWatch – Provides full-text coverage of newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press in America (some international coverage). Includes more than 400,000 full-text articles from 200 publications.
Gender Studies Database – Covers the spectrum of gender engaged scholarship inside and outside academia
Latino Literature – Brings together more than 100,000 pages of poetry, fiction, and drama written in English and Spanish by hundreds of Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and other Latin authors working in the United States.
