- Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
- ECCO is a digitised version of The Eighteenth Century, a microfilm collection (FILM 16,664 GUIDE Index Tables Microforms PCL Level 1) of major titles and editions published in the United Kingdom and the Americas, between 1701 and 1800. It aims to make nearly 150,000 works available in searchable full-text. The collection is an ongoing project based on The English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC), a machine-readable union list of the holdings of the British Library, as well as those from more than 1,500 university, private and public libraries worldwide.
- English Short Title Catalogue
- Contains over 400,000 records for works in any language printed in England or its dependencies from the beginning of printing through the end of the eighteenth century, as well as works printed in English anywhere else in the world during that period. This is a bibliographic database. See Eighteenth Century Collections Online (above) for online texts of many titles included in the English Short Title Catalogue.

- Contains local history monographs for all 50 states, as well as Canada, England, and Ireland. Also includes the complete U.S. Federal Census, 1790-1930. Search by title, family name, geographic area, or subject.

- Sabin Americana (1500-1926)
- Online collection of 14,000 primary source titles based on Joseph Sabin's bibliography, Bibliotheca Americana. Materials describe every aspect of life in the Western Hemisphere from 1500 to the 1890s. Included are books, pamphlets, serials and other documents.
Newspapers
- 17th and 18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers (1757-1817)
- The newspapers and pamphlets gathered by the Reverend Charles Burney (1757-1817) represent the largest single collection of 17th and 18th century English news media available anywhere. The 1,270-title collection includes a wide range of pamphlets, proclamations, newsbooks and newspapers from the period, covering more than 200 years of accounts from newspapers from England, Ireland, Scotland and a handful of papers from British colonies in the Americas and Asia.

- American Periodical Series (APS) Online, 1740 - 1900
- Digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals that originated between 1741, when Andrew Bradford's American Magazine and Benjamin Franklin's General Magazine were launched, and 1900. Deriving from the acclaimed American Periodicals Series microform collection, APS Online features over 1,100 periodicals spanning nearly 200 years-from colonial times to the advent of American involvement in World War II. Titles range from America's first scientific journal, Medical Repository, to popular magazines like Vanity Fair and Ladies' Home Journal. The search interface allows you to search the complete text, including tables of contents, by boolean and keyword operators. This online collection includes all titles from the American Periodicals Series (APS I, II, and III) microfilm collections, which the library retains (Series I and II in PCL and Series 3 in the Ransom Center).
