Gale Virtual Reference Library: Encyclopedic articles about broad topics, theories, events, etc.

ARTICLES & DOCUMENTS

Academic Search Complete: Huge interdisciplinary database. Good for all topics.

Education Full Text: Search education journals and magazines. Dates back to 1983.

ERIC: Search eduation journals, goverment documents, conference proceedings and more. Dates back to 1966.

Google Scholar: Google's search for academic literature. To access the full text of journals we subscribe to, always start at the library site and log in with your EID!

LLBA: Great for bilingual education, ESL and foreign language education topics.

PsycINFO: Huge psychology database. Relevant for most education topics.

BOOKS & DISSERTATIONS

UT's Library Catalog: Find books and documents owned by UT Austin.

Dissertation & Theses Full Text: Search for dissertations from over 1,000 colleges and universities. Many are full text.

Google Book Search: Search inside the text of millions of books.
