Academic Search Complete: Huge interdisciplinary database. Good for all topics.

Education Source: Search over 1,700 education journals and magazines. 

ERIC: Search eduation journals, goverment documents, conference proceedings and more. Dates back to 1966.

Google Scholar: Google's search for academic literature. To access the full text of journals we subscribe to, always start at the library site and log in with your EID!  In Google Scholar settings, create a library link to University of Texas at Austin for additional access and easy ILL requests.

PsycINFO: Huge psychology database. Relevant for most education topics.


UT's Library Catalog: Find books and documents owned by UT Austin.

UT Digital Repository: Find recent UT dissertations.

Dissertation & Theses Full Text: Search for dissertations from over 1,000 colleges and universities. Many are full text.

Google Book Search: Search inside the text of millions of books.
