I. History of the Industry

A. Inception

• Search UTNetCat using subject keywords (history and "industry name")
• Use the "advanced search" tab to search Business & Company Resource Center by industry description, SIC or NAICS code.

B. Competitive Evolution Over Time

• Do a subject keyword search in UTNetCat; for example: sk industry soft drinks.
• Look at titles that provide history, the beginnings of the industry, a particular company. Check out the bibliography--it should provide you with other sources.
• Use the "advanced search" tab to search Business & Company Resource Center by industry description, SIC or NAICS code.
• Search "industry evolution" and "competition" in Business Source Complete.
