How to Use a Database Guide

The Database Guides help you locate the databases that are best suited to answer different types of business information questions. In the example below, if you are looking for information on a private company, you see that Hoovers is a good place to start. A solid, black circle indicates that a database is one of the first places you should check. A half circle indicates that a database is a good source but not your first choice. An empty cell indicates that the database does not contain that type of information. Once you've identified the database that will answer your question, click on the database title to access it.
