  • Academic Search Complete allows you to search for articles with images and just images with captions.

1) Finding Articles with Images
Use Advanced Search in Academic Search Complete. Enter your search terms and limit your results to Articles with Images by selecting Text with Graphic.

In most cases, you will have several options for viewing the article and images. To view the image, select either HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text. The image and text will appear with both options. The PDF option will download the article and image exactly as it appeared in the publication -- this may be important in determining the context in which the image was used.

2) Finding Images and Captions
You can also search just the Image Collection in Academic Search Complete. This will return only images and captions that match your keywords. It will not return articles with images.
