Description:
In this class, students work in groups to evaluate selected web sites and post their evaluations to a discussion board in Blackboard. Librarians comment on the evaluations.
Students also follow a current science topic in the news. As part of this assignment, they find a peer-reviewed journal article on the same topic as their news thread and reflect on how it impacted their understanding of the news thread.
