In Spring 2005, librarians created a pre-test measuring six information literacy concepts, as well as five separate assignments mapped to five of those information literacy concepts. English Honors faculty can upload the pre-test into Blackboard and, based on the results, upload appropriate assignments into Blackboard. At the end of the semester, students can be given a post-test to ensure they learned the concepts taught through the assignments.
