UGS 302: Feminism Now
Professor Lisa Moore

Description:
This seminar requires that students identify and evaluate one need of undergraduate women on campus and then identify an issue or problem to address in their final class project. One aspect of the assignment is to interview someone who can speak to that need. For example, if a student is exploring relationship violence, they may speak to someone at SafePlace. The assignments below assist students in exploring the issue they chose, identifying someone to interview and researching the issue in order to inform the interview. Students keep a research log and turn it in with an annotated bibliography.

Learning outcomes:
These brief assignments meet all of the Information Literacy Learning Outcomes adopted by Undergraduate Studies.
