Consult with a Librarian

Librarians are available to consult with you about your research assignments.

• Library resources are constantly changing. Librarians can ensure that the resources you suggest still exist and are the most up to date resources available.
  
  
• Librarians see hundreds of assignments at our reference desks each year. We can review your assignment for areas that may be confusing for students or help you create a new one.
  
  
• If you are assigning a specific topic, we can research it in advance to let you know how successful your students will be in finding information on that topic.
  
  
• Librarians can create exercises tied to the course content to teach your students research skills. These can lead up to a research paper or stand alone as discrete assignments which deepen understanding of the course content.
