EBooks – How to Create a Link

  1. Search for the EBook in the Library Catalog by doing an Advanced Search and changing “Material Type” to EBooks.


  2. In the record for the EBook, click image of FindIt@UT button.


  3. Under How to Cite/Link, click “Save citation information”


  4. Use the resulting URL, but add the proxy server prefix to it so that students can log in from off-campus. The proxy server prefix is http://ezproxy.lib.utexas.edu/login?url=

    If you are adding this link to your Blackboard page, use the proxy server prefix "http://ezproxy.lib.utexas.edu/login?auth=ezproxy&url=" This allows students to access the resource without having to log in again with their UT EID.
