Description:
This seminar requires that students choose a “hot topic” related to healthcare and research it throughout the semester, using sources ranging from websites to peer-reviewed journal articles. Students also gain experience with the professional and scholarly literature in the healthcare field by tracing a health-related story in popular newspaper and magazines back to the original research being reported. During the course, students also research generic and prescription drugs using websites and reference sources.
