Learning Commons Workshops FAQs
Do I need a reservation?
No. Just come to the workshop at the time advertised.
How much do the workshops cost?
They are free.
Who can attend?
Anyone can attend. Current UT students, faculty and staff need an EID to log on to the network for hands-on access. The general public is welcome to attend without hands-on access. For our workshops, we do not offer access to our network to non-UT affiliated persons.
Where are workshops held?
- In-person: in the Learning Commons unless otherwise noted
- Online: At the time of the workshop, go to the URL on the schedule, select Enter as guest, type your name and click Enter Room. You will need headphones or speakers.
What if I need special accommodations?
If you require special accommodations to attend any workshops, please contact Teaching and Learning Services staff at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 1 week before the scheduled workshop to make arrangements.
I’m a reporter/photographer. Can I attend?
Before attending a workshop, please contact email@example.com for permission.
