The PCL Reference Collection includes almost 30,000 volumes. Many of the collection’s key encyclopedias and other reference titles are now available online and listed on the library’s “Databases” page either individually or grouped under publisher names. For example, there are now hundreds of reference books available through the Gale Virtual Reference Library. Other reference titles are available as e-books via netLibrary catalog records and through other means. Users should ask for assistance if unable to locate any item. Suggestions for additions to the collection may be made to the appropriate reference collection bibliographer or at the Information and Research Help Desk. The collection is available whenever the building is open (see Library Hours).
