The Electronic Information Center, located on the entry level of Perry-Castañeda Library, provides users with access to the Internet and online library resources, as well as Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Standard CS3. A UT EID is required to access one of the 140 Microsoft Vista workstations and you can use Bevo Bucks or a library print card to pay for printing. The EIC also contains a collection of CD-ROMs from the US Government and other sources.
Use the Waiting List during peak demand for assignment to the first available free workstation. Sign in with your UT EID. Once assigned a station you will have five minutes to claim it.
The applications available on the EIC workstations are:
Epson GT-15000 and GT-20000 scanners are attached to stations 212, 213, 220 and 221, which are located in the Reference Room (PCL 2.200).
