Citing Resources - MLA Online Sources

Modern Language Association (MLA) style is used to document sources in a standard format. One web site that will help you create your bibliography in MLA format is NoodleBib. Created by a librarian, this interactive site will ask for appropriate information for each source and format your citations using correct punctuation.

The following examples show the correct format for parenthetical or in-text citing as well as the for the bibliography or works cited. If you use in-text citations you will need to prepare a list of works cited at the end of your paper. If you do not see the example you need listed here, you should consult the MLA Style site.
