The United States Government supports a comprehensive approach to combating illegal narcotics, which includes cooperative counternarcotics agreements with other nations. This report presents the current strategies implemented by the United States Government and the Government of Guyana in the fight to end the production and transport of illicit drugs, current policies affecting bilateral counternarcotics cooperation between the two nations, an evaluation of the achievements to date, and recommendations for future cooperative counternarcotics efforts.
