This report discusses environmental protection policies towards Poland's water resources in the context of its accession into the European Union. First, it presents the history of environmental legislation in Poland and the present situation of its environmental resources. Second, the report discusses the prerequisites Poland will have to meet in order to join the European Union. Finally, it presents what will be required in order for Poland to meet the accession challenge.
