This report examines how economic development has transpired in two countries located in the Middle East. It analyzes the importance of the transfer of science and technology into these countries and how this phenomenon has aided in their development in the post-World War II era. Additionally, it analyzes the different types of policies and procedures associated with enabling the continued transfer of technology and examines current development conditions and policies that support development. Finally, the report draws out the fact that external conditions and factors affect the ability of countries to develop through technology transfers and concludes by offering recommendations for the future.
