User information profile only needs to be set up once (Name, MSI address, etc.)
For Location Status: must select REMOTE DELIVERY
When requesting book(s): leave the default as Main Campus Pickup Location PCL
Requested books will arrive at MSI's shipping/freighting office. Email is sent to the patron indicating a package has arrived.
ATTENTION REMOTE DELIVERY PATRONS NEW RETURN SHIPPING METHOD REQUIRED
THE ILS office is changing the way materials are returned to the library by our Remote Delivery patrons residing oustide of the Austin area.
Due to losses in shipping, the Library will no longer be supplying pre-paid padded envelopes with volumes shipped. With each loan, you will receive a paper pre-paid return label which should be placed on your own packaging. ILS is asking patrons to use boxes to protect the volumes during return shipping.
This new process should cut down on the number of lost and damaged items. As always, you may elect to return materials via a commercial courier other than USPS if there is a recall deadline or due dates are fast approaching.
Questions? Email: email@example.com or call 512-495-4339.
OTHER OPTION: RETURN ITEMS to the Marine Science Library!
Documents are delivered in PDF format via desktop. Patron receives email to "pick-up" the article.

Go to > Electronically Received Articles (left-hand column)
Interlibrary loan requests or document delivery can take anywhere from 2-5 days, depending on factors such as availability, location of institution, and the mail system. There is no guarantee that ALL materials will be received within a specified time period. Due dates vary with EACH lending library; patrons are responsible for returning materials when asked.
The Marine Science Library follows the same policies as other UT Libraries in Austin.
Requests for loans or photocopies should be submitted by OCLC.
If your library does not have OCLC send email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
