WHAT'S NEW at the Life Science Library

 

New KIC Book Scanner
Life Science Library has a new KIC Scanner available for public use. You can scan in books and documents, save to a USB Drive or email to yourself. More information on using the scanner is available here.

Request a New Book Hold Online
Books on the New Book Shelf can now be placed on hold using an online request form. Fill out and submit the request form, and then you will be notified when the book is ready to be picked up.

Scanner
A scanner is now available for public use. You can scan in images (the attached computer is equipped with Photoshop CS3), convert images to text (with ABBYY Fine Reader), email the finished product to yourself, or print a black and white copy. The scanner is available on workstation MAI EE 3.

Calculators!
Two new TI-86 Graphing Calculators and Guidebooks have been added to Life Science Library Reserves. The calculators are available for two-hour library use checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. To borrow a calculator, ask at the Circulation Desk.
