The library stacks are on levels 4, 5, and 6 of the tower portion of the building. The stack entrances are located at the north ends of the library lobby. The Life Science Library is an "open stack" library - patrons are welcome to enter the stacks anytime during operating hours.

Books and bound journals are shelved by call number in the stacks and are available for checkout. If you prefer to use materials in the library, please leave materials in the copy area or at the study tables - we'll put them away for you!

The stacks contain dozens of study carrels equipped with extra lighting for quiet individual study, most with windows. Study carrels along the north wall overlook the Tower Garden (also known as the Turtle Pond).
