If you're doing food and nutrition research, the Life Science Library has some tools to help make your search a little easier.
Finding Articles is a two-step process:
The indexes and databases contain references to thousands of articles, searchable by topic, author, date, etc. Most food and nutrition articles will be indexed in biosciences and biomedical databases. The most comprehensive of the biology databases is BIOSIS. A good general science database is Web of Science. The premier medical database is PubMed. We have tutorials are available for all of these databases.
You may also want to browse some of our online journals. They offer great convenience, but remember to search the UT Library Catalog for the thousands of journals that aren't online, too.
