| DESCRIPTION
JCR allows you to analyze journals in the science fields. With JCR you can determine which journals have been most frequently cited and the number of articles published in a journal within a particular year (or years). How does JCR do this? JCR provides journal impact factors. An impact factor is a measure of the frequency with which the "average article" in a journal has been cited in a particular year. The impact factor will help you evaluate a journal's relative importance, particularly when compared to other journals in the same field. HELP sites
