1993 - present. (University of Michigan) limited to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Texas at Austin
ICPSR is the world's largest archive of computer readable social science data, containing more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences. It hosts 16 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields. Available data can be browsed by topic or searched. The ICPSR Bibliography of Data-Related Literature is a continuously updated database of thousands of citations of works using data held in the ICPSR archive. The works include journal articles, books, book chapters, government and agency reports, working papers, dissertations, conference papers, meeting presentations, unpublished manuscripts, magazine and newspaper articles, and audiovisual materials.

For assistance see the ICPSR Data User Help Center, which contains audio/visual tutorials and webinars. Locally, The Division of Statistics and Scientific Computation provides campus-wide statistical consulting services. For assistance with a specific software package see the Division's software FAQs.
