What are NetLibrary eAudiobooks?
The NetLibrary eAudiobook collection contains nearly 1,300 unabridged titles, including contemporary fiction and non-fiction as well classic novels, narrated by professional actors. You can download a maximum of 10 eAudiobook items at any given time.

How do I access NetLibrary eAudiobooks?

  1. Enter NetLibrary eAudiobooks using the link above. If you are off campus, you will be asked for your UTEID and password before being taken to the NetLibrary site.

  2. Create a NetLibrary account.
You need to create an account in order to download and listen to the audiobooks. This account is NOT your EID. To create an account, click on the "Create a free account" link in the upper right-hand corner of the NetLibrary screen and then enter your name, email address, and a password of your choosing. NOTE: If you already have a NetLibrary account, you can try it. We have found that some of the older NetLibrary accounts do not allow access to the eAudiobook service.

  3. Search for or browse the available eAudiobooks to find the ones you want.

License

Playing or transferring an eAudiobook requires a license. The license automatically downloads the first time you open the eAudiobook file, giving you access to the eAudiobook for the checkout period. The license also allows you copy the eAudiobook file to two additional portable listening devices. You must be connected to the Internet and you may have to login with your NetLibrary account to acquire the license for the eAudiobook file. Once you have a license, you no longer need to be connected to the Internet or logged in to listen or transfer an eAudiobook.
Note: If Windows Media Player shows "acquiring license," but eventually you get a message that you don't have a license to play the eAudiobook, you may need to download a newer version of Windows Media Player.
