Updated weekly. A searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions. The database, maintained by the Office of Extramural Research at the National Institute of Health, also provides access to publications and patents resulting from NIH funding. RePORTER lists only publications found in PubMed or PubMed Central; however, it does include some publications resulting from NIH-funded research that are not part of the PubMed collection but were published before the NIH Public Access policy went into effect. Weekly updates to the database include the addition of newly-funded projects and revisions to prior awards (e.g., change of grantee institution or revised award amounts).

The CRISP system was taken off-line on December 30, 2009 and replaced by the RePORTER database. CRISP legacy data can be downloaded at the ExPORTER site.
