    In English and some Arabic. Banat Akhir Zaman is a grassroots movement that seeks to achieve gender equality in Lebanon by empowering women on the personal, social, political and economic levels. Current organization initiatives include legal reform and research. The website includes general materials on both of these initiatives.

    In English and some Arabic. Bekhsoos is a queer Arab magazine published weekly by queer and trans folks at Meem. The site covers topics related to (homo)sexuality in the Arab world. Our objective is to fill the gap of lesbian- and transgender-produced writing in the Arab world through articles, reports, investigations, personal stories, opinion pieces, and creative writing. The materials are all written, and they reflect the goals expressed above.

    In English. The Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) was established in 1992 in response to serious human rights abuses by the government of Kenya against its people. At the current time, the Kenya Human Rights Commission's goal is to adequately root human rights and democratic values in communities. This will not only enable communities to defend but also claim their rights. Website materials document program activities, news and popular education materials.

  7. Laogai Research Foundation [China]

    In English. In 1992, the Laogai Research Foundation was established to gather information and spread public awareness on the Chinese Laogai (work camps). The Foundation publishes an annual Laogai Handbook, newsletters, special investigative reports, as well as assisting television media in preparing documentary films on the Laogai. Since its inception, the LRF has expanded its focus to document and report on other systemic human rights violations in China, including public executions, organ harvesting from executed prisoners, the coercive enforcement of China's population control policy, and persecution of religious believers. Contains reports, list of publications, survivor stories, and photographs.
