    In English and Bosnian. The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina was founded on 11 February, 1995. It is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization. The aim of the Committee is the protection and promotion of human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Materials focus on local community development and rights issues, but the site also includes reports and publications on the human rights situation in Eastern Europe.

Focuses on human rights defenders, international justice, terrorism, death penalty, women's rights, forced disppearances, globalization, migration and asylum. Site contains news on each area of focus, information on intergovernmental organizations, and copies of financial statements.

    In English and Arabic. Contains project information, press releases, PDFs of publications, and a database of its library related to democracy and civil rights in Egypt and the Middle East. The Center is a non-governmental organization and its main objectives are the advancement of applied social sciences with special emphasis on Egypt and the Arab World. It is committed to the promotion of responsible dialogue, democracy, peace and development for all peoples in the region. The Egyptian government closed the center in 2000. Its founder, Saad Eddine Ibrahim, and 27 other members of staff were tried and imprisoned on trumped-up charges in 2002. The center re-opened in 2003 but founder remains abroad for fear of imprisonment upon return to Egypt.

The International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights (IHF) is an international, nongovernmental organization constituted by national Helsinki Committees and Cooperating Organizations in the participating States of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Website contains news, reports and issue area campaign documents for international human rights concerns.

    In Russian and some English. Moscow Helsinki Group was founded in 1976 as an extension of the international network of Helsinki committees. The website's content is primarily in Russian, but materials in English include news, political analysis, documentation of human rights violations and organization publications.

  6. North Korea Freedom Coalition

    In English. Formed in 2003, the Coalition has worked for the freedom, human rights, and dignity of the North Korea people. The Coalition currently has over 60 public member organizations and individual members representing millions of American, South and North Korean, and Japanese citizens as well as other nations. is credited with being the driving force behind the passage of the North Korea Human Rights Act of 2004 and is now working to ensure that it is fully implemented. Site contains downloads of educational materials, event listings, news and a photo and video gallery.

    In English and Greek. This website provides a platform for a variety of regional human rights organizations. It provides materials on news and issue areas across the region, but divided into country areas.

    In Russian and English. Kyrgyz Committee for Human Rights (KCHR) - is an NGO established by internationally known human rights defender Dyryldaev Ramazan. The website principally contains news and monitoring information from Kyrgyzstan.

    In English and Spanish. Website of the Tlachinollan Human Rights Center which is concerned with promoting and defending human rights for the peoples in Guerrero, Mexico. There is a strong agricultural focus.
