In English. Formed in 1990, SAACID (meaning 'to help' in Somali) is a non-governmental organization with offices in Somalia and Australia. Their aim is to increase life options for women, children, and the poor.
In Arabic, English, French and Spanish. Formed in 2005, ASVDH conducts human rights work in the Western Sahara under Moroccan occupation. Moroccan authorities refuse to recognize the association and have targeted the Association’s Executive Committee and Coordinating Council, arresting, beating and generally subjecting them to harassment and maltreatment because of their membership in ASVDH. In English. SMUG is a coalition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) human rights organizations. SMUG was born on March 3, 2004 to organize LGBTI groups to create one big strong LGBTI community in Uganda. The need for a coalition arose because there were several LGBT groups operating in the country lacked concrete organization and teamwork with fellow groups. SMUG would then work on behalf of its member organizations, enforcing their activities and representing them in a more organized manner. The websites contains general news articles and program news.

Site contains complete report for download of the Sierra Leone Truth & Reconciliation Commission's investigation of abuses during the Sierra Leone civil war. There are also versions of the report for high school students and children. Government has ignored or rejected recommendations; there is also a lack of government funding.

Formed in 1990, SAFHR promotes respect for universal values of human rights, the interdependence of rights and the indivisibility of rights. Some of its core concerns of the human rights and peace agenda are displacement of indigenous peoples and minorities, refugees and migrants, impunity, inter-state and intra-state conflicts and peace accords, militarization and the strengthening of peace constituencies in civil society. It works with two particular constituencies - women and the media- to strengthen their peace and human rights building capacities.
