LOCATION
The Walter Geology Library is on the 4th floor of the Geology
Building, in the East Mall area of campus. (Area 5 on the overview
map.) The Geology Building is on the East Mall on the north
side of the East Mall Fountain. It is directly across the East
Mall from the Steindam ROTC Building, and directly west of the
Winship Drama Building. It is about 100 yards from the intersection of San
Jacinto and 23rd Streets. See the map of Geology

Finding a parking place on campus is often difficult.
Closest (fee-based) parking is in San Jacinto Parking Garage on San Jacinto Street, and in metered spaces as shown on the map. Parking garages 3 and 5 (see parking map) and other metered spaces elsewhere on campus are also available. Some otherwise restricted parking areas become available to the public after 5:45 pm. Inquire at the guard booths at campus entrances for specifics.
Parking Garage 1 (PG1) is in area 6, north of the library on San Jacinto Street, near the Law School.
