Ask for Course Reserves at the Circulation Desk. Course Reserves are shelved by call number.
To find a call number:
To add a course to Course Reserves, teaching assistants or faculty should fill out an online form or a print form available at the Circulation desk.
For the online form:
To add an item to a Course that has already been established on Reserves, teaching assistants or faculty should give materials to library staff along with a written form (available at the Circulation desk) that indicates Course Number, Course Name, and Course Professor's Name.
You will find Open Reserves at the back of the library. The Open Reserves has two filing cabinets with printed articles and another cabinet containing rock trays. Look for articles in folders under your professor's name.
Use the materials within the library. No check-out is necessary. Students are expected to return materials to the filing cabinets where they found them.
Although the library hosts Open Reserves, teaching assistants or faculty are responsible for maintaining these files each semester.
