University of Texas Bulletins and Publications
* QE 167 U558 Geology Library

The Bureau of Economic Geology began its Publications series as part of the University of Texas Bulletin and Publications series in 1915. These were issued in the years prior to 1968, when B.E.G. Publications ceased.

Numbering varies. The earliest of the series were numbered consecutively, but in 1917 the numbering was changed to signify the year and bulletin number - thus UT Bulletin 3232 was published in 1932, and was the 32nd bulletin published that year. Publications succeed the Bulletin series. They begin with the 1938 publishing year using the same numbering system. Publication 6711 was the last of this series.

Reports of Investigations
* QE 167 T42 Geology Library

This is the major contemporary publication series of the Bureau of Economic Geology. It began in 1946 and continues today.

Geological Circulars
* TN 24 T4 T38 Geology Library

This series includes shorter contributions to the literature, including some reprints of special interest. It began in 1965 and continues today. Numbering (for example, 85-2) reflects year and item number.
