Fine Arts Library Seminar Room Policy

Semester booking for courses:

1. Can be made for MWF classes 8am to 4 pm, TTh classes 8am to 3:30pm, SSu open to close.
2. Are made on a first come, first served basis.
3. Are restricted to courses taught in the College of Fine Arts or that utilize FAL materials throughout the course.
4. Are subject to the proviso that the FAL may require a class to vacate the room if it is needed for a library instruction session.

Semester booking for video screening:

1. Can be made for MWF classes 4pm to close, TTh classes 3:30pm to close, SSu open to close.
2. Are made on a first come, first served basis.
3. Are restricted to courses for which viewing video is an integral and essential aspect.
4. Are subject to the proviso that the FAL may require a class to vacate the room if it is needed for a library instruction session.

One-off or occasional bookings for lectures, meetings, group study sessions, screenings:

1. Can be made for any time a room is not reserved on a semester basis.
2. Are made on a first come, first served basis, though semester-long bookings have priority.
3. Are primarily for faculty, students and staff of the College of Fine Arts, and for users who require FAL materials.
4. Are subject to the proviso that the FAL may require a room to be vacated if it is needed for a library instruction session.
