Facing east, set against the posts along the west side of the FAL are five vigango posts from Kenya (pictured above in the outer panels, and left). Standing beside the circulation desk, facing west, is a beautiful carved wooden Senulfo Post from the Ivory Coast (above center). We also are home to a case of wonderful painted wood figures from Nigeria which live in the glass case beside the stairway (top center). All of the African art currently on display in the Fine Arts Library is courtesy of the Department of Art and Art History.
