This is among the showiest of the wood-sorrels. It is a fall blooming perennial with leaflets shaped like boomerangs. You'll find it in open rocky areas of grasslands and open woodlands, as well as in sandy areas, in many parts of southern, central, and Trans-Pecos Texas.
