What is UTNetCAT UTNetCAT is the Web-browsable online catalog of the University of Texas at Austin libraries. UTNetCAT provides information on the millions of items in the UT Austin libraries, and shows the current status (checked out, etc.) for most items including:
Searching UTNetCAT UTNetCAT offers browse searching by title, author and subject and title, author, subject and mixed keyword searching. (Mixed keyword searches look for the terms you enter in all the searchable fields). Keyword searches can be limited to items in a specific library location, by format of materials, place of publication and by language. Refer to the UTNetCAT User's Guide for more information on searching UTNetCAT. Information about material available at the Tarlton Law Library in the UT Austin School of Law can be found using Tallons, the online catalog of the Tarlton Law Library. UTNetCAT Services Would you like to know what you have checked out from the UT Austin General Libraries? Did you know you can renew most books without having to bring them back to the library? Do you need something that is not available in our campus libraries and would like to have our InterLibrary Service (ILS) department find a copy for you? Due List/Renew, Recall and ILS Borrowing are some of the services available through UTNetCAT.
