Finding Images on the Internet

The Engineering Library has not made an effort to collect images.  If you need a photograph or graphic, searching the Web for image archives may prove very useful. 

We have found the AltaVista search engine to be very helpful when looking for images.  To do an AltaVista image search, go to the AltaVista multimedia search page and select Images. Search using keywords to find images.

Google has also added a Google Image Search feature that is also worth trying if you are looking for images on the Web.
