- "While background reading for my doctorate in a new field of study, I systematically tracked down references. One was a specific government document that sounded pertinent. When I could not find it and requested the reference librarian's help, she could not find it either. She apologized to me, a common graduate student. How could the UT Library possibly include every government document? When I said 'thanks but no problem', she apologized again and once more before I left. Thank you, UT Library, for serving my needs so conscientiously and comprehensively."
