The Chin-Cheng Wu Foundation for Peace and Humanity of Carlisle, Massachusetts funded the Shalin Liu Taiwan Studies Endowment through a pledge begun in 2002 and completed in 2004. The proceeds from this endowment will be used to support the purchase of Taiwan studies materials for our collections in order to further research and study in that area.
