AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Libraries is currently administering a service quality survey to solicit input from students and faculty at The University of Texas at Austin.
Six thousand people – 4,800 current students and 1,200 members of faculty – were randomly chosen to take part in the LibQUAL+ web survey. Those selected received an email invitation last week requesting their participation and providing a link to a short survey that takes about five minutes to complete.
Aggregate data from the survey helps the Libraries in making strategic decisions about access to resources, collections, facilities and patron service.
Another change is that this year's survey – LibQUAL+ Lite – is a shorter version for which each user only responds to a subset of the 22 core questions that make up the comprehensive survey.
The survey runs through April 16.
