New Option for Accessing SciFinder Scholar remotely: WTS
ITS has added the SciFinder client software to the Windows Terminal Service (WTS). This provides users with another option for accessing this database system that does not require installing the client software on your own machine. The existing proxy server access will be continued for the time being. For more information, visit the SciFinder Scholar page.
Scanning Articles from Storage
The Libraries now offer a new service where you can request that an article from a journal located in the Library Storage Facility be scanned and made available for you to pick up online. You can still request physical retrieval of a storage item if you want. More information
More ACS Preprints Now Online
The ACS Proceedings site has expanded to include preprints of papers from two more member divisions: Polymer Preprints (POLY) and Environmental Chemistry (ENVR). Two others, Fuel Chemistry Preprints (FUEL) and Petroleum Preprints (PETR), are coming soon. These sections join the existing Polymeric Materials Science and Engineering (PMSE) preprints. To browse and search, go to the ACS Proceedings site.
New Electronic Journals:
