Well on Brown's Plantation, five miles west of Calvert.—Depth, 800 feet; flow negative; water rose to with 100 feet of the surface.
GRIMES COUNTY.
Well at Lamb's Springs, sixteen miles north of Navasota.—Depth, 999 feet; flow large.
Water was found at 547 feet of sulphurous quality. The water flowing from the bottom is saline.
Ice Factory Well, at Navasota.—Depth, 224 feet; size of pipe, 2-inch; flow medium; quality of water good.
BRAZOS COUNTY.
Well at Steele's Store.—Depth, 330 feet; size of pipe, 1-inch; flow good; water of good quality.
Well at Stone City (Moseley's Ferry).—Depth, 230 feet; size of pipe, 1-inch; flow good; water only of fairly good quality.
Wells at Bryan.—The Bryan Water, Ice and Electric Light Company have driven three wells. Two of these are 90 feet deep each, and are abandoned. The third well driven, and from which their supply of water is derived, gives: Depth, 190 feet; size of pipe, 6-inch; flow negative.
Water rises only to within 140 feet of the surface. A supply of 50, 000 gallons daily is pumped from the well. Water is of fair quality.
BURLESON COUNTY.
Well on William Koppe's Plantation, sixteen miles south of Bryan, Brazos county.—Depth, 870 feet; flow, 40,000 gallons per diem; water of excellent quality.
HARRISON COUNTY.
Well at Marshall.—Depth, 1000 feet; flow negative. No other information accessible.
MARION COUNTY.
Well at Jefferson.—Depth, 802 feet; flow small; water sulphurous.
DE WITT COUNTY.
Well at Yorktown.—Depth, 64 feet; flow, 11,000 gallons per diem.
