Opportunities to contribute to the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection's mission are as limitless as the cultures and countries that constitute contemporary Latin America and as the role of Latinos in the United States increases.
The Benson Collection accepts donations to increase the principal of its seven current endowments:New endowments can be established within the University of Texas Libraries for the benefit of the Benson Collection with a donation of $10,000 or more. Investment proceeds from endowments may be used for general or very specific purposes, depending on the wishes of the donor.
Gifts of cash may be made outright, by bequest, or by a lifetime-income gift that may be directed to a variety of uses, including purchase of library materials or support of special programs.
