The SALALM Secretariat is currently hosted by The Latin American Library
at Tulane University and is located in the Howard Tilton Memorial Library.
The Executive Secretary is Hortensia Calvo.
The Secretariat functions as the headquarters of the organization, and manages all activities related to membership, publications, coordination of the annual meetings, and committees. SALALM personal members receive copies of the Newsletter, published six times a year, papers of the annual meeting, sign-in privileges to the Seminar's listserv, LALA-L, and the chance to compete for travel support through Enlace and the Presidential Travel Fellowship. Institutional members also receive two or three occasional publications by SALALM published each year. See membership application for dues information.
